The Kirkland Lake Mile of Gold Quilters Guild proudly presents the “Live, Love and Laugh” 2012 quilt show at the Museum of Northern History from Thursday May 3rd to Sunday June 3rd 2012.

An Open House will be held on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with quilting demonstrations by members of the quilters guild.

Admission to the Quilt Show during the open house is a donation to The Museum of Northern History.

The 2012 Kirkland Lake Skating Club Annual Ice Show will be Alice In Wonderland. A few months ago when we first listed the end event it was scheduled for March 3rd, 2012. The correct date is in fact Friday, March 2nd. More details here.

I’m trying to verify information previously posted about helicopter rides at Hockey Heritage North. Originally I’d posted that they would be taking place on February 25th and March 3rd from 11:00 to 3:00pm at Culver Park. It appears that they are actually being held at Hockey Heritage North on the follow dates:

Feb 18th: 11:00am-3:00pm
Feb 19th: 11:00am-3:00pm
Mar 3rd: 11:00am-3:00pm
Mar 4th: 11:00am-3:00pm

I’m trying to contact the organizers to confirm these dates. My apologies for any confusion this may have caused. I’ll update the event listings once this is confirmed.
